Blessing: The Lord of Hosts is Our Husband
Beloved, the Lord your Maker created you to live in covenant relationship with Him as the Lord your Husband, whose name is the Lord of Hosts.
Beloved, hear the Word of the Lord for you.
For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called the God of the whole earth.
Isaiah 54:5 (NKJV)
Then you shall know that I have sent this commandment to you,
That My covenant with Levi may continue,”
Says the Lord of hosts.
“My covenant was with him, one of life and peace,
And I gave them to him that he might fear Me;
So he feared Me
And was reverent before My name.”
Malachi 2:4-5 (NKJV)
Beloved, the Lord of Hosts made a covenant of life and peace with Levi as a priest that extended to his descendants. When you are in Christ, you are a member of the royal priesthood (1 Pet 2:9). Since Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, what the Lord intended for the covenant of life and peace with Levi as a priest and his descendants, He intends for you today as a member of the royal priesthood.
The Hebrew word for peace is shalom, which means, “completeness (in number); safety and soundness (in body); welfare, health and prosperity; peace, quiet and tranquility; contentment; peace, friendship of human relationships and with God especially in covenant relationship; peace (from war).”
As the Lord of Hosts, your Husband is the Commander-in-Chief of the armies of angels. Thus, He is able to provide the protection from the enemy that is available to you in this covenant of life and peace.
Beloved, I bless you to live from the provision of the covenant of life and peace the Lord your Husband, the Lord of Hosts, has made with you. May you fully experience the provision of abundant life made available to you by your Husband in the covenant of life and peace. I bless you to live from the provisions of the covenant of peace/shalom, which include: completeness (in number); safety and soundness (in body); welfare health and prosperity; peace, quiet and tranquility; contentment; peace, friendship of human relationships and with God especially in covenant relationship; peace (from war).
I bless you to be strengthened by the assurance of the Lord your Husband’s love for you to know He will protect you in this covenant relationship. May you grow in your identity and love by knowing and experiencing your Husband’s covenant with you for life and shalom.
Beloved, please turn your face to the Lord your Husband, the Lord of Hosts. Please ask Him to teach you how to live from the fullness of the covenant of life and peace He has made with you. Please ask Him how you can relate to Him as your Husband, the Lord of Hosts, within the provisions of the covenant of life and peace. Please ask Him to instruct your spirit, soul and body to live from the provisions contained in the covenant of life and peace.
Beloved, I bless you to know the Lord your Husband, the Lord of Hosts, has made a covenant of life and peace with you. May your Husband bless your spirit, soul and body with the provisions that come from the covenant of life and peace. I bless you in the name of Yeshua, in the name of Jesus.
